Process flow The magnetic separation equipment mainly consists of a pre-coagulation reaction system, a magnetic disk purification and separation system, a magnetic seed recovery and circulation system, a sludge treatment system, and an electric control system. Depending on the geographical location and purpose, the system can be installed in two ways-a static setup or a mobile vehicle-mounted version. The fixed version is best suited for underground and above-ground applications, while the vehicle-mounted solution is intended primarily for emergency purposes.
The main process of the setup utilizes gravity flow, and the components are made of stainless steel. The interior of the equipment is suitably protected, while the drainage and dosing pipelines are made of PPR and other materials that are resistant to corrosion. This helps to minimize corrosion, scale buildup, and the need for maintenance.
The magnetic disc purification and separation water treatment technology can quickly and effectively remove suspended solids and pollutants, like COD, in 3-5 minutes. See the figure for a visual representation of the process.
Process flow details With a sewage pump, water is drawn from an intake point and sent to a coagulation reaction tank, where it is blended uniformly with a magnetically-charged element of a pre-determined strength. Under the influence of a coagulant and its auxiliary, water that contains a certain quantity of a magnetic material achieves the amalgamation of the magnetic material with the non-magnetic suspended substance, forming miniature magnetic flocculates. The effluent undergoes a coagulation reaction before entering a super-magnetic separation device. Under the intense magnetic field, ferrous magnetic micro-flocs are purified and separated from the water. This process achieves purification and separation of the micro-flocs and the water body, and the effluent can be discharged or recycled. Through the use of a magnetic powder recovery device, the micro-magnetic flocs from the disk can be effectively separated from the non-magnetic sludge. The magnetic substances collected will then be recycled, while the sludge goes into a sludge concentration tank to be processed via a sludge dehydrator. Technical features The mixed flocculation reaction of high efficiency, the incredibly high recovery rate of magnetic seeds and the consistent high-density micro-flocs lead to an optimized flocculation process with a magnetic core, and results in lower consumption of the medicament than a regular process. Magnetic adsorption can separate solids from liquids with tremendous speed, at a rate that's hundreds of times faster than sedimentation by gravity. Generally, it takes only a few minutes to have water go from entry to exit, making it up to twenty times faster than the time it would take for sand high-speed or high-density sedimentation to have the same result. Enjoy the benefits of a highly efficient and concentrated product design, with a minimum floor area of just 1/6 to 1/8 of what it would be with a traditional process. Our excellent coagulation and separation equipment can even be made compact enough to fit into a mobile setup or onto a vehicle. This system is designed with a focus on decreasing the carbon footprint as well as energy conservation. Despite a small installed capacity and low overall power usage, it offers a high degree of automation in operation, resulting in a fast startup and maintenance. Furthermore, the magnetic seed recovery rate is very impressive, reaching an astonishing 95% or more. These features combine to provide an efficient and cost-effective device that is easy to interact with. The sludge which has been separated has a low water content, meaning it doesn't need further concentration before going into the dehydrator. The sludge discharged from the equipment is ≤ 93% humidity, so it's already ready for direct treatment.
